Our Story
Before starting Blue Operator, I worked in pool supplies. Every week people would come in frustrated; their pool guy had stopped showing up, quit without notice, or given them bad advice on chemicals that made the problem worse. A lot of them ended up trying to do it themselves because they couldn’t find anyone reliable.
I decided to do the work the way I thought it should be done: honest about what the pool actually needs, consistent weekly service, and no disappearing acts. I started with one pool in Kendall. Today we service homes across Miami and Homestead in more than 30 zip codes, still with the same focus on reliability and doing the job right.

Much of Key Biscayne was once a coconut plantation, the largest in the continental United States, until the Rickenbacker Causeway opened in 1947 and new homes started going up on the island in the early 1950s. The village incorporated in 1991, becoming the first new city in Miami-Dade in more than 50 years. At the island’s south tip, the Cape Florida Lighthouse, built in 1825, is the oldest standing structure in Greater Miami. We take care of home pools on the residential streets off Crandon Boulevard. Most homes on the island are condos, but Census estimates count more than 1,300 single-family houses, and those are the pools we take care of. The typical home here dates to the late 1970s, so many pools and equipment pads have seen decades of sun and salt air. Ocean breezes carry salt and sand into backyards, salt air is hard on metal parts, and strong sun and summer storms keep the chemistry moving.
Our weekly service keeps all of that in check. Chemicals are always included, filters are cleaned every month, and we keep you on the same day each week whenever possible. Balanced water protects your plaster or Diamond Brite and helps your pump, filter, and salt system last longer. We also take care of repairs, acid and chlorine washes, and leak detection.
